Practical hints
Keep your electrode clean: sensors don't like to be covered with grease. The longer you store a dirty electrode the shorter is its useful lifetime! Therefore:
Clean your electrode well before storing by rinsing with distilled water or - if necessary - with ethanol or other suitable solvents.
