- I have problems measuring the
pH of blood. Can you help?
- My electrode only works for
a short time. What can I do?
- My sample volume is small,
what do you recommend?
Biological samples often contain protein. The normal electrolyte used in pH measurements is KCl; however KCl denatures proteins. Use Idrolyte as the electrolyte in measurements of biological samples and make your measurements trouble free.
Clean, refurbish your electrodes by immersion in 5% pepsin in 0.1 mol/L hydrochloric acid for several hours. According to pHil the frog your electrodes will perform like new!
