Recommendation for waste water: Routine measurement in the lab

pH Meter:
Electrode:
- Unitrode – combined LL pH glass electrode with Pt 1000 temperature sensor, fixed ground-joint diaphragm, fixed cable
Accessories:
- Cable, 1m (other lengths available)
- Buffer solutions
- pH 4, pH 7 and pH 9 (30x30 mL sachets)
- Electrolyte solution c (KCl) = 3 mol/L, 250mL (for Ag/AgCI reference system)
- Storage solution for pH glass electrodes
Your advantages:
- The Unitrode is the ideal electrode for difficult media such as waste water. Especially when the media contains solids, the robust diaphragm of the Unitrode can handle it without problems
- The Unitrode can be purchased in different lengths from 125 mm to 450 mm
- The fixed ground joint diaphragm of the Unitrode stops back diffusion of the sample into the reference chamber of the electrode. The electrolyte solution can not be contaminated with sample
Practical hints:
- If the diaphragm of the Unitrode is blocked there is no need to use chemicals in order to clean it. With a soft brush you can remove the impurities which have accumulated on the diaphragm surface
- Do not use an electrode with a ceramic pin diaphragm!
